Research & Development

In our experience all schools are taking part in exciting research and development projects, even if they don't call what they're doing R&D.  Knowing what works and perhaps more significantly why it works, are central to maintaining continuous school improvement. By sharing the inspirational work of our alliance schools we can all benefit from the knowledge and experience of the inspirational work taking place.

Currently NEXUS is creating Research and Innovation Groups (RIGs) in order to encourage and stimulate research based school development to drive improvements in teaching and learning which any school can become involved with.

NEXUS are also running TeachMeet events where practitioners share bitesize tasters of what they are working on. Please get in touch if you would like to attend.

If you have any school based research that you would like to share more widely then please get in touch so that it can be disseminated through the website.
