Accelerating Progress TeachMeet

Welcome to the next installment of NEXUS TSA's ever-popular Teachmeet series (a bit like a conference crossed with speed-dating!).

This Teachmeet will focus on Accelerating Progress, looking at examples of successful practice from across the region and with a keynote from the renowned data and assessment expert James Pembroke, aka 'Sig +' & 'School Data Updates on Twitter'

James is a leading Twitter blogger & advisor with 14 years experience in Primary & Secondary Education data analysis. He has over 10 000 followers and is the ‘go to’ person for evidence-based information on assessment.

James' keynote is entitled: The Progress Problem: DfE Progress measures don't work and our tracking systems aren't helping. How can we fix a broken system?

James' keynote will be followed by 6 micro-seminars, 7 minute mini-presentations by teachers who have done something in their school which has gone on to accelerate progress.

Mid-way through we'll break for a free buffet and a chance to network with colleagues and we promise to finish on the stroke of 7pm (our Teachmeets ALWAYS finish bang on time!).
