Leadership for School Business Managers & Administrators
Our new Developing Your Leadership Role Programme is a unique development programme aimed at School Business Managers and School Administrators who perform a critical role, working alongside other members of a school’s leadership team in ensuring the success of schools. Facilitated by Senior Leaders and School Business Leaders, it explores the big picture of how the contribution of a school business manager benefits a school and makes a real difference to children’s learning opportunities. It covers the key areas of school business that need to be managed well in order that high-quality learning and teaching can take place and helps delegates develop a range of leadership skills which they require in order to carry out their role efficiently and successfully.
Who is it aimed at?
School Business Managers and Administrators who wish to develop their leadership skills and ability to work strategically with the SLT.
The 5 session programme includes:
- Bringing the visions and values of the school to life
- Leading change
- Leading the team and building relationship
- Working strategically with the SLT
- Leading HR and the workforce
Headteachers/members of SLT are also invited to join the fourth session.
Session will run from April 2019
Where is the programme delivered?
At either Blackhorse Primary or Mangotsfield CE Primary and it includes opportunities for learning walks and sharing of good practice. All sessions run from 1.00-3.30pm
£175 per delegate
(reduced to £125 for schools of less then 100 pupils)
