Welcome to South Glos TSA

The South Glos Training and Support Alliance is a partnership of schools who are passionate about collaboration and school improvement.

The strategic partners consist of like-minded schools, each of whom have their own strengths and areas of specialism, who work together in order to support other practitioners and schools.  

The TSA is passionate about helping primary schools achieve the best possible outcomes for all of their pupils. It is our vision that all children within our family and alliance will have a first-class, innovative education.

The TSA plays a role in school improvement in an increasingly school led system in 3 main areas which are:

• training new entrants to the profession (School Direct)

• continuing professional and leadership development (CPD)

• school to school support (S2S)

We also 

• identify and develop of leadership potential

• offer specialist leaders of education (SLE’s) across the region

• promote research and development in teaching and learning and to develop school based research
